Cosmic 350 Viridian x Neutrino

Updated: Jan 26, 2022

On October 8, 2021, the Viridian club, the Environmental Chemistry club, and the Neutrino club, the Physics club collaborated to host their Annual Event, 'Cosmic 350.'

Our school motto is "Vidya Chah Vimuchyate," which means "Knowledge is Liberation." We are still in need of knowledge in a world where we are awash in data. What else does a student crave if not knowledge? What else is a student interested in? Keeping in mind our school motto, we organized numerous activities to not only develop a scientific mindset among students, but also to remind them to look at the world imaginatively and innovatively in order to fulfil our desire for knowledge and learning.

Science and the natural world are inextricably linked. The development of one has an influence on the other. As our society recognizes the critical need to safeguard the very planet we live on, it recognizes the significance of science and the good use of technology. Thus this collaboration brought together these two very important topics of today's fast paced world. The goal of this event was to promote a more broad-based and creative knowledge of the sciences, which was accomplished through the following activities:

1. Let Your Music Speak (Song Composition) :

A melodious showcase of the current affairs of today in the form of song compositions.

2. SDG Trivia :

A ferocious intellectual competition measuring the pupils' understanding of Sustainable Development.

3. The Laughter Centre (Comic Strip Making) :

Depiction of the current issues of today in rather humorous and light-hearted ways.

4. Painting the Words (A Poetry X Art Competition) :

A combination of Poetry and Art for representing different topics in creative ways.

The event was held online via the Google Meet Platform. This event drew more than 50 people from seven different schools.

This year, Cosmic 350 was once again a chance for students to expand their grasp of science and sustainable development topics beyond the scope of traditional classroom instruction.
